Mumbai: Monthu Maxim Fernandes (36) dies after falling from train

Mumbai, 15 Nov 2013: Monthu Maxim Fernandes (36) Husband of Reshma, father of Mishola, Son of Late Joseph Rymond and Cecelia Pinto, Native of Bellur Parish in Mangalore Diocese, Residing at Mangalorean Milagres Society, Hill Road, Bandra, Mumbai, Expiredon 15th November early morning 3 am due to train accident.
Recently during the Monti Fest Celebration organised by VASAI KONKANI WELFARE ASSOCIATION he played a comedy role in KUSHAL GROUP.
He was working as a AC Mechaning and for the more earning he used to do catering in night time. Yesterday night he had roce catering in Borivali. He was returning in a train at 1.30am early in the morning. He was sitting near the door. His other colleagues were sitting inside. At 1.30am someone in the train noticed him slipping from the train in between Goregaon and Jogeshwari Railway stations. Then his colleagues alerted the police and searched for him. He was located in a gutter and then admitted to Bhagwati Hospital Borivali where he breathed his last at 3am.
His daughter Mishola (age 2.5 years) recently had health complications and had to undergo open heart surgery. Monthu who was not financially sound, had to rely on his friends for financial assistance to carry out this operation.
