Abu Dhabi, 29 Sept 2013 : Kalachakra, a social and meaningful Tulu drama was wonderfully enacted by Rangabhoomi theater troupe (Udupi), at the Abu Dhabi Indian Scholl on Friday evening. The award winning drama was organized in Abu Dhabi by Tulukoota Abu Dhabi under the leadership of Mr. Sarvotham Shetty.
The play was attended eminent dignitaries namely Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty (MD NMC Group), Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty (COO Global-UAE Exchange Centre), Mr. Sarvotham Shetty (President, Abu Dhabi Karnakata Sangha), Mr. Shekar Shetty (MD – Arab Udupi Restaurants group), Mr. Satish Venketraman (Chilli Willi Group) Mr. Sunder Shetty (MD Nihal Restaurant), Mr. Shodan Prasad (Namma Tuluveru), Mr. Ravi Rai (NMC Group), Mr. Jayaram Rai (Bin Fardan Group), Mr. Mohammed Ali Uchil (Bearys Welfare Forum) and Abdulla Madumoole (BWF).

Media representatives were also honoured on the occasion.
The most versatile artistes of Rangabhoomi ® enacted the roles of traditional Indian family back in the native, wherein the new generation has come under the influence of western culture, disregarding their parents who are driven to the street and at last cared by some Samaritans. It has indeed rekindled the plight of human life and to ponder over their exit from this world.
The played showed how the parents who looked after their kids with love, affection and care become the burden and they seek their selfish goals throwing the parents out in the streets which seems to be the current situation. The roles of parents were beautifully enacted by the main characters (Mr. Pradeep Chandra Kuthpady & Ms. Sujatha Kumari B.) which was appreciated and accorded a thunderous applause at the end of the drama. Other Characters played by Stipad S. Hegde, Rajesh Bhat Paniyadi, Chanchalakshi Bhat, Vivekananada N, Ms. Shashiprabha N. Karanth, Jayakar Manipal did a wonderful acting and it brought tears in the eyes of the crowd.
Those who did not attend this drama lost an golden opportunity and we must say that the organizers put up so much efforts and many did not turn up as expected which was heartening and an important social and family message of life and lives of parents, their struggles, pains and indifference by children towards the love and affection of parents, all these issues were wonderfully highlighted in this drama were lost by those who could not attend this family drama.
The main character Mr. Pradeep Chandra Kuthpady (Joint Secretary of Rangabhoomi Udupi), was honoured on the occasion by Dr. B.R. Shetty with a traditional shawl, floral bouquet, a citation while Manhor Thonse read the theoretical achievements of Mr. Pradeep C. Kuthpady.
