Udupi: Pamboor Parish ICYM Unit organizes Fancy Dress Competitions to Parishioners

Udupi, 1 Sep 2013: The ICYM unit of Holy Cross parish, Pamboor, near here organized fancy dress competitions for the parishioners recently.

 

The competition was divided in solo and group. Solo was divided into 6 subgroups for children, youth and elders.

 

Many participated in groups as well as solo’s and won prizes.

 

Pamboor parish priest Fr Paul Rego was present.

 

Melwyn Catelino and Grynal D’Mello were the jurors of the competitions.

 

Melwyn appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the parishioners

 

Grynal thanked for the opportunity and appreciated ICYM’s effort.

 

Fr Paul also congratulated the winners and appreciated the effort by ICYM.  He presented mementoes to the jurors.  He also appreciated the joint efforts of ICYM president Josil Errol Noronha and secretary Linet D’Souza.

 

Freni Martis and Reshma Mendonca compered the programme.
