Syndicate Bank requests customers not reveal ID and password to third parties

Moodubelle, 16 August 2010: Instances have been brought to the notice of the Syndicate Bank officials that their customers have been receiving e-mails from fictitious IDs seeking details like login ID, password, ATM card, pin details’ etc.
The officials of the bank has clarified that the Syndicate Bank does not send any such mails seeking above details or any other personal details from their customers. Syndicate Bank officials have requested their customers not to part with any information of their bank accounts or any personal information to any third parties and also not to respond to any such mails. For logging to internet banking they should log in through bank’s website at syndicatebank.in only. They should not use any other URL links on any other website or links received in their e-mails.
The officials have further clarified that Internet Banking Facility is being given only to the selective customers who are genuine and their credential are undoutable. The officials have emphasised the fact that the customers should not share their user-IDs and password with any one through any communication means like e_mail, mobile or any person pretending to be bank staff.
