M’lore: Battle of Brains – 2013, AICS Inter-School Chess Tourney Inaugurated at Mount Carmel C

Mangalore, 05 July 2013: At the aegis of Mount Carmel Central School (MCCS), Mary Hill, here, Battle of Brains – 2013, AICS inter-school chess tournament was inaugurated during a function held at school auditorium, here on Friday July 5 at 8.45am.

 

The Corporation Bank deputy general manager Dr Kurian P Abraham and State Bank of India, regional manager Raghuram Shetty was the chief guests of the occasion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

Dr Kurian inaugurated Battle of Brains – 2013, AICS inter school chess tournament here on Friday morning.

 

MCCS joint secretary Sr Ida Barboza AC presided the function.

 

MCCS principal Sr Melissa was present at the dais.

 

Around 400 students from 40 schools of Dakshina Kannada district, Udupi, Kundapur, Shimoga, Koppa are taking part in this tournament.
