Kundapur: City Artist Tallur L N to Represent India in Basel Arts Exhibition

Kundapur, 8 Jun 2013: The city artist Tallur L N chosen to represent India in prestigious Art Unlimited division of Basel Arts Exhibition that will be held in Basel city that lies on the border of Switzerland – Germany from Thursday June 13 to Sunday June 16.

 

 

 
Mumbai-based Camold art gallery and New Delhi-based Nature Morth art gallery are jointly sponsoring Tallur L N  who will display his art work titled Veni, Vidi, Vici which will focus on Mangalorean tiles that was first introduced by Basel Mission in coastal Karnataka a few centuries ago.  It’s significant that Mangalorean tiles are being displayed in the founder’s location.


 
Seventy-nine chosen artists from across the world will take part in Art Unlimited.  The artists from 300 galleries worldwide will showcase their masterpieces during the mega exhibition.
