Kundapur: Sankalpa Friends Yuva Vedike Inaugurated at Koteshwar

Kundapur, 24 May 2013: The voluntary organizations are essential for social development.  Sankalpa Friends indeed has done their yeomen service in social and educational empowerment.  The newly-launched Sankalpa Friends Yuva Vedike will further contribute for the integral development of locality, said Kundapur newly-elected MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty.

MLA Srinivas Shetty was speaking after inaugurating Sankalpa Friends Yuva Vedike at Halaalive, near Koteshwar, here on Thursday May 23.

 

Surat entrepreneur Gopal G Poojary presided the function.

The first grade contractor Markod Sudhir Kumar Shetty, Sankalpa Friends president Krishna Halaalive, retired health inspector Srinivas Ganiga, contractor J P Shetty, entrepreneur Suresh Bettin, Prakash Bettin, Sasidar Shetty, Narayan Mogaveera, Rama Poojary, Subbanna Shetty and Rukku Karvi were present at the occasion.

The scholarship, reading lap, financial assistance to physically-handicapped, ceiling fans to local schools and furniture to Manasa Jyoti Special School students were distributed at the same occasion.

Ganesh Achar welcomed the gathering.  Sitaram proposed vote of thanks.  The journalist Vasant Giliyar compered the programme.
