Kundapur: State Ministry appoints New Administrator for Brahmalingeshwar Temple, Maranakatte

Kundapur, 22 Mar 2013: The state ministry of religious endowment appointed administrator for Brahmaligeshwar temple, Maranakatte, near here on Thursday March 21. Accordingly, the Tahsildar of Kundapur taluk will take charge as acting administrator of Brahmaligeshwar temple.
The temple authorities faced litigation over property feud and other issues, while the appointment of administrator has put an end to family-held temple administration.
A large number of devotees throng during annual ritualistic celebration of Gendamahotsav, to offer puja and offerings at this historically famous temple.
