Kundapur,02 Mar 2013: CPI (M) activists Koni Venkatesh Nayak and Shobha V Nayak couple, residing at Byndoor near here signed the papers to donate their bodies after death to Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, here on Wednesday February 27.
Koni Venkatesh Nayak firmly believes that if their mortal remains are in any way helpful in research for the welfare of mankind, they made the right choice. They don’t believe in cremation of body and last rites that will entitle them eternal reward. One does not know whether one gets rebirth, said Venkatesh Nayak.

‘We respect our parents’ decision of donating their bodies after death since it’s a humanitarian deed,’ said couple’s son Chetan V Nayak and daughter Varsha V Nayak.
I also like their decision. After death who knows what will the future if u donate body to hospital students studing what is in side body. if students studies they will save others life ,now a days 95% are not donating body to hospital .i also decided to donate my body to Kasturba hosital but my family members oppose this matter .just thinking how to arrange .no my family members giving a sign to the hospitals formate.will thinking .see what will going on .
