Udupi: Two inner roads in Kurkal get Zilla Panchayat Grants for concretization

Udupi, 01 Nov 2012: Due to the efforts of Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, member of the Udupi Zilla Panchayat Rs. 6.65 lakhs were obtained as grant from the Udupi Zilla Panchayat for the concretization of two inner roads in Kurkal. The concretization process was inaugurated recently at both the roads in the presence of distinguished persons.

 

 

 

Besides Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, the distinguished guests for Guddhali Pooje included Rev. Fr. Leslie D’Souza, parish priest of St. John the Evanjalist Church, Shankerpura, Rev. Fr. Ronald Fernandes, parish priest of Katapadi, Vasant Salian, Shashi Salmara, Edwin Nazareth, Navin Amin, A.G. D’Souza, Dr. Edward Lobo, Ronald Castelino, Deva Puthran, Mahesh Shetty,  Stany D’Souza and other local leaders.
