Kuwait: TuluKoota conducts Free Medical Check Up & Consultation Camp

Kuwait, 14 Sep 2012: Tulu Koota Kuwait, in Coordination with Indian Doctors Forum, Kuwait Medical Association, Indian Dentist Alliance in Kuwait and Kuwait Heart Foundation conducted a Free Medical check-up & consultation Camp on Friday, 14th September 2012 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Abbasiya from 7am – 1 pm.

 

The Medical check-up & consultation Camp specially took place for all the people who do not have the opportunity or facility to undergo regular medical checkups at a regular clinic.

 

 

Mr. Mohan, 1st Secretary, Community Affairs at the Indian Embassy and Mr. M.K.Ramachandran Menon, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan were the chief guests for the day. A total of 26 doctors, 4 dentists, 12 nurses and 5 lab technicians participated and offered their services to the needy people. The doctors come from various departments like Cardiology, Gynecology, Pediatric, Opthalmology, Dental, E.N.T, Orthopedic, Nephrology, Dermatology and Surgical.

 

The president of TuluKoota Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor, welcomed the guests and read out the 12 years of achievements of the organization in Kuwait such as flood reliefs donations, free dialysis for below poverty level back in India, repatriation of domestic servants back to India and helping needy patients for their medical care in India and Kuwait. More than 500 people all over Kuwait participated in this camp and made this day possible.

 

The doctors, nurses and lab technicians were honored on this day. Large number of Tuluvas were present on this occasion. Lunch was served.
