Bearys Welfare Forum Abu Dhabi organizes Iftar get-together at ISC

Abu Dhabi, 04 August 2012: The Bearys Welfare Forum (BWF) organized the Iftar get-together at India Social and Cultural Centre, Abu Dhabi on Friday evening amidst prominent personalities namely Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty.
After breaking of the fast and evening prayers, a short stage programme was held and all the dignitaries were invited to the dais by BWF General Secretary Abdulla Malemale. President Mohammed Ali welcomed the prominent guests on dais and expressed this gratitude for accepting his invitation and joined them for the Iftar get-together.
He put forward the charitable causes initiated by BWF and successfully conducted in Mangalore especially the mass marriages of many poor couples. This year too it will be held at Milagrese Hall on 4th November 2012 and appealed generous help from members to conduct these successfully. He also thanked all those donated for various causes which helped many under-privileged people to live a dignified life in the society.
He especially expressed his gratitude to Chief Guest of the day Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty (MD NMC Group) and Mr. Sudheer Kumar Shetty (COO Global, UAE Exchange Centre) for their constant support from the beginning of BWF.
All the dignitaries on the dais spoke on the occasion and wished Happy Ramadan to all Muslim brothers. Dr. B.R. Shetty said that he was happy to be associated with BWF and they are like his family members and Beary community is very close to his heart from the beginning back home in Mangalore. He wished them all and the gathering a happy Ramadan. Mr. Sudheer Kumar Shetty also wished them on the occasion and praised BWF for their various charitable deeds and promised to attend this year’s mass marriage in Mangalore.
The other main guests of the day was Mr. Ahmed Wahabe (Manager New Muslim Centre), spoke on the occasion and said he too was closely associated with BWF and lauded BWF for the community service and selfless work towards the common people and under-privilaged.
Mr. Siraj Ahmed (Saiban community) and Thomas Sequeira also spoke on the occasion and wished all the best for the Ramadan period.
Earlier Mr. Abdulla Mohammed recited the prayer and vote of thanks was proposed by Mohammed Raffick.
