Kuntalanagar: Novena begins at St Antonys Church

Kuntalanagar, 04 June 2012: Novena will start at St. Antony’s Church Kuntalnagar from Monday 04th June 2012. Mass starting at 04.30 pm on every evening followed by the Novena will be held for 9 days until 12th June in preparation for the feast of St. Antony. The feast mass will be in the morning at 10.30 am on Wednesday 13th June 2012, said Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteiro, who has extended a general invitation to all the devotees welcoming them for the Novena.

 

 

St. Antony’s Church in Kuntalnagar is located on a hillock, stands tall and clearly visible from distance. The Stations of the Cross around the church and the shrine dedicated to St. Antony which were built recently makes this place even more beautiful and attracts the devotees from the neighboring parishes. The location provides panoramic views of wonderful lush green landscape winding its way to the Arabian sea. The Western Ghats can be seen at a distance on a clear day.
