Swimming pool Picnic organized by Bellevision Bahrain

Bahrain, 03 Jun 2012: For Belleans in Bahrain, Friday the 01st of June was a memorable one. People work hard all the weekdays and when weekend comes they plan out their leisure. During this hot season of the year, what more could the members of Bellevision Bahrain ask for, other than an outdoor swimming pool picnic on a weekend?  More than 90 people joined the fun filled full day event at Hamala. It was our pleasure to have elderly parents of few of our members, who are on their visit to Bahrain.

 

Though most of our children had catechism exams, we ensured that they had enough entertainment and games for them in the afternoon session. Adults were kept busy at the pool and on the ground with exciting games like blind folded couple game, treasure hunt, swimming competition, breaking of pot, coconut breaking, throw ball etc. children enjoyed water bottle filling competition, breaking of pot and ball aiming game. Exciting gifts, freebies, biscuits and chocolates were sponsored by the members. The main attraction of the day was Rain Dance arranged by Ivan and his team, which was astonishing and very well enjoyed with Baila dance by young and old alike. It created an atmosphere of a heavy rainy day.

 

Our member’s children who excelled in their Xth std exams Ms.Reeshel Fernandes, Anceeta Martis & Calvin D’almieda were felicitated and congratulated with flowers by Bellevision president Kishore.

 

 

Our Entertainment secretary Mr.Preetham & Marita Arnaha were congratulated on the arrival of their first child and BV General Secretary Mrs Pramila & Mohan D’souza were also congratulated on the arrival of their second child.  Our own member Mr. Ivan Sequeira (Sequeiram) who married recently, arrived directly to the venue from the airport and was congratulated by the president and wished him a happy married life.

 

The main coordinator of the event was, Alfreeda, DJ Shaun entertained the crowed with non stop music and the sports activities were co-ordinated by Steevan who ensured that the day from 10 am – 5.30 pm was packed with non-stop fun and frolic.
All those assigned with responsibilities made sure that they were carried out promptly.  Breakfast, lunch and evening tea were served by Udupi Palace Restaurant. It was a well organized, fun filled and a memorable event. Vice President Ivan Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks.

 

The President thanked all those who have put their time and efforts to make this event a successful one called upon all the members to support every event with same spirit.
