Delhi Daredevils
The Delhi Daredevils played well in the first two editions of the IPL. In 2011 DD performance was the worst as they were stood last amongst ten teams. Virender Sehwag was Captain of the side in 2008-2009 before stepping out in 2010 to make way to Gautham Gambhir. When Gautham Gambhir was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011, Sehwag was made the Captain again. Lot will depend on Sehwags performance at top of the order this year.
Delhi has roped in Kevin Pieterson and Mahela Jayawardene this year. Along with Sehwag, the onus of giving respectability will be on the shoulders of Irfan Pathan, Venugopal Rao, Andre Russel, Morne Morkel, Aaron Finch etc.
