Shirva: Religious Ceremonies in Vishnumurthy Temple

Shirva, 06 March 2012: On Monday Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka religious ceremonies were conducted to Lord Shri Vishnumurthy in shirva Mahathobhar Shri Vishnumurthy Temple, led by Derebailu Harikrishna Thantri along with Temple Thantri Brahmashri Vedamurthy Sagri Haridas Aythal, Temple priests; Raghupathi Bhat, Shrinivasa Bhat and the Vaidika team, which began early in the morning at 03.00 am.

 

 


 
At 8.50 am in the Meena Lagna muhurtha, Brahmakumbhabhisheka was conducted. In the presence of Shridurga, Navothara Shatakalashabhisheka, Panchavnshathi Kalashabhisheka to Chamundi family deities, Prasanna Poojas were conducted. Vishnu Sahasranama Yaga, Poornahuthi were conducted and in the afternoon Mahapooje and Annasantharpane were conducted. Management Committee of the Temple, Renovation committee and Bhajaka Vrandha had participated in huge numbers.
