Spectacular day two of India Fest 2012 held at ISC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 05 Feb 2012: After the amazing inaugural ceremony of INDIA FEST 2012 held at India Social and Cultural center, the day two was indeed a spectacular event wherein the jam packed crowd enjoyed variety of entertainment programs  despite the harsh weather conditions.

 

The chilly evening was warmed up Well known U.A.E DJ Avito and Rudy pair followed by introduction of day long programs by emcee of the day Danish.  The first item of the day was colourful dance by visiting India Gujarati Folk Dance troupe presented by Cultural Wing of India and equally amazing Bengali dance performance was presented by young girls of Bengali Association.

 

 

But the most amazing show was by young girls from Dubai titled: Panchari Melam by Dala Dubai mesmerized the crowd .  The young girls entertained the crowd by beating drums continuously for more than half an hour non stop and at the same time dancing and singing and it was a special treat of the day as the huge crowd watched amazed and stunned.

 

The little kids of Cultural Wing of India Embassy presented wonderful Bollywood dance performances followed by Poorakalli a religious dance performance was too entertaining and another young boy from U.A.E. winner of Boogie Woogie 2010 held in New  Jersey, U.S.A.  fame Master   Pranav Pradeep presented a lovely acrobats during Poorakalli dance and also danced to the tunes of Bollywood number.  Once again world renowned Pandit Daya Shanker mesmerized the crowd with Shannay.  Another famous DJ of U.A.E  Mr. Eappen chipped in between with his DJ numbers and kept the audience entertained.

 

The final curtain down ceremony of INDIA FESTIVAL 2012 was concluded on Saturday the 4th Feb which will be reported shortly.
