Doha: MCC gears up for ’Konkan Dabaazo’

Doha, 05 April 2010: A rare and unique opportunity for all Konkani music lovers in Qatar………Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar in association with Al Saai Group proudly presents ’KONKAN DABAAZO  2010’ - a Show with a difference, a one of the kind Konkani variety entertainment like never before in Qatar, on Friday, 9th April 2010, 5.00 p.m. at the Al Ghazal Club, Doha. The evening will be a complete package high class Music, scintillating Dances, rib tickling Comedy of the highest order with 19 renowned artistes from Mangalore, Kuwait and Dubai.

The team from Mangalore comprises of singers Adolf Jayathilak of ’Ye Mana’ fame, ’Rani Kogull’ Lavita Lobo, musicians Roshan D’Souza, Ashith Pinto, Melwyn Fernandes and Richard Monteiro and comedians ’King of Comedy’ Jerry Rasquinha and Joseph Pinto. The Star attraction of the show ’Mr. World’ - Raymond D’Souza will also be flying in from Mangalore.

From the gulf we have singers Rony D’cunha (Kuwait) and Reshma Cutinho (Dubai) along with the MC Uttam Menezes (Dubai).

Dubai’s hugely popular Dance troupe ’Ocean Kids’ comprises of Sarah Pinto, Farah Pinto, Shilpa, Rithesh Rosario, Pullikunnu, Anup along with the choreographer Vinod Sequeira.

All in all ’KONKAN DABAAZO -2010’ will surely be a big bundle of sheer, wholesome entertainment of the highest quality.
