Kalmady, 28 March 2010: The Palm Sunday was celebrated with great devotion and fervour in the Stella Maris Church, Kalmady keeping in mind the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus during the coming few days. Fr. Joseph Monteiro was the main celebrant of the litury of the Palm Sunday. He highlighted the self sacrifice of Jesus and his unconditional love for the broken world.
Fr. Ivan Mendonca and Fr. Maxim Misquith concelebrated the Holy Mass. The solemn mass began with the procession with people carrying the blessed palms to the Church symbolically welcoming Jesus into their hearts.
