Mega Bible Convention Continues to Uplift Spirits on Day 3 with Grace, Deliverance and Renewal

Mangaluru, March 23, 2025 – The Mega Bible Convention 2025 continued to ignite faith, renewal, and healing on its third day, as thousands gathered at the Holy Cross Church, Cordel Grounds, Mangalore for a profound spiritual experience. Organised by the Mangalore Diocesan Service Communion (MDSC) in collaboration with the Bible Commission, the convention, which began on March 20, has seen an increasing number of faithful seeking divine blessings and spiritual transformation.
FAITHFUL EMBRACE SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
Under the guidance of Rev. Fr Dominic Valanmanal from the Marian Retreat Centre, Kerala, the convention has been a beacon of faith, drawing believers into praise and worship, spiritual discourses, deliverance prayers, the Eucharistic celebration, and adoration.
This year’s convention holds special significance as it commemorates the Golden Jubilee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement in the Diocese of Mangalore, reaffirming the call to deepen one’s faith and experience God’s saving grace.
SOLEMN EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION
The Eucharistic Mass on the third day was presided over by Very Rev. Msgr Maxim Noronha, Vicar General of the Diocese of Mangalore, along with: Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes, Parish Priest of Kulshekar Church and Spiritual Director of MDSC, Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza, Karnataka Regional Service Communion, Rev. Fr Santhosh Rodrigues, and other concelebrating priests.
MSGR MAXIM NORONHA’S THOUGHT-PROVOKING MESSAGE
During his homily, Msgr Maxim Noronha reflected on the transformative power of God’s Word, stating:
"Life presents us with many trials and hardships, but the Word of God offers second chances. The Bible is filled with stories of those who accepted God’s invitation for renewal and were saved by His grace. This Charismatic Convention is an opportunity to embrace those second chances, to be transformed, and to walk in the path of salvation."
PRAISE, WORSHIP, AND DELIVERANCE SESSIONS
The third day of the convention featured an energetic and uplifting praise and worship session, led by Br Alwyn D’Souza, accompanied by the MDSC Team and the Cordel Church Choir. Their powerful singing and heartfelt prayers fostered a deep sense of devotion among the gathering.
Rev. Fr Dominic Valanmanal, accompanied by his team delivered a passionate discourse on deliverance and grace, guiding the faithful through prayers for healing, restoration, and spiritual breakthrough. These sessions facilitated a profound encounter with God, leaving many participants spiritually strengthened.
Adding to the spiritual depth of the convention, Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza from the Karnataka Regional Charismatic Movement served as the translator for all the sessions, ensuring that the Word of God reached the hearts of every participant.
