Flag Hoisting and Bible Procession Mark Solemn Beginning

The inaugural ceremony began with a procession of the Holy Bible, led by Mr Kevan and Mr Aaron, symbolising the centrality of the Word of God in Christian life. Bishop Aloysius Dsouza venerated the Bible with incense, and adorned it with a floral garland, signifying reverence for the Scriptures.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the hoisting of the flag by Bishop Aloysius DSouza symbolising the official commencement of the Mega Bible Convention 2025.

Solemn Inaugural Mass

The Solemn Inaugural Mass was presided over by Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza and concelebrated by other priests. This year’s convention is centred on the powerful scriptural theme from Romans 5:5 – "Hope does not disappoint us."

In his homily, Fr Clifford Fernandes highlighted the profound significance of hope, which is strengthened through a deep love for Scripture. He stressed that we should never be reproached for failing to embrace the Word of God or neglecting its teachings. With the Word of God in our lives, no one will ever be disappointed.

At the conclusion of the Mass, Rev. Fr Dominic Valanmanal from the Marian Retreat Centre, Annakara, Kerala, together with Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza, lit the ceremonial lamp—a symbol of spiritual enlightenment and the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Day 1 Highlights: Powerful Preaching and Worship

The first day of the convention witnessed a dynamic session by renowned preacher Fr Dominic Valanmanal from the Marian Retreat Centre, Annakara, Kerala. His powerful message focused on faith, healing, and the transformative power of God’s Word, deeply resonating with the faithful.

The Praise and Worship session, led by Br Elias Coelho & Br Ozmond Lobo and Team, created an atmosphere of divine presence. The Cordel Church Choir enriched the experience with soul-stirring hymns, drawing thousands into deep prayer and reflection.

Massive Participation and Eager Anticipation

With massive faithful gathering on the first day, the convention has already set a spiritually enriching tone for the coming days. The event is expected to draw around 15,000 participants, offering an immersive experience of prayer, healing, and biblical enlightenment.

The convention continues over the next three days with insightful sessions, healing services, and testimonies, promising a life-changing encounter with Christ.
