Kudroli Ganesh wins the Golden Magician National Magic Award

Mumbai, March 14: The Indian Magic Association (IMA) of Andhra Pradesh has honored Karnataka-based magician Kudroli Ganesh with the prestigious "Golden Magician" National Magic Award.This award was presented to Kudroli Ganesh for his lifetime achievement in recognition of his creative experiments in the field of magic.

 

Shri SribharatMuthukumuli, Member of Parliament for Visakhapatnam, presented the award to Kudroli Ganesh at a grand function held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh to commemorate National Magic Day. Renowned magician and President of IMA, Shri B.S. Reddy, was present.

As part of its tenth anniversary celebrations, the Indian Magic Association has presented awards to ten magicians from India and abroad, including India’s leading magician, Mr. P.C. Sorkar Jr.

 

Speaking after accepting the award, Kudroli Ganesh called on Indian magicians to innovate their performances to keep up with changing tastes.Expressing his opinion that for the development of the art of magic, it needs to be given an institutional form and the central government needs to be urged in this regard, Kudroli Ganesh requested senior magician Mr. P.C. Sorkar, who was present at the meeting, to take the lead in this regard.

 

Kudroli Ganesh has been in the magic arena for over thirty years and has performed over 2,300 magic shows across the country and in 15 foreign countries. He has participated in various magic competitions and won 11 national magic awards.He has created a unique style of magic that is a fusion of magic, folklore, theater, and music. He is popular all over the world with his innovative magic experiments like Tulunadu Magic, Tulunadu Cups and Balls, Harikathe Magic, Navadurga Vismaya, Magic for Cleanliness, Magic for Education, Mind Magic, etc.
