Bantwal: The feeling and pride that India is my country should be instilled in everyone, and the youth should adopt the ideals of great figures like Shivaji Maharaj in their lives and serve the country, said Tamil Nadu BJP state president and retired police IPS officer Annamalai K.
KalladkaShrirama Vidyakendra, Srirama First Class College Kalladka, inaugurated the program by performing Aarti and worshipping Bhagavad Gita and Puranas at the "Current India: Truth and Myth" National Symposium held at the Azad Bhavan of Srirama Degree College on Tuesday.
He inaugurated the event and spoke on the theme "My Country - My Responsibility".
He said that the cultural splendor and lifestyle of India should be understood and preserved, adding that despite differences in language, culture, caste and religion, a harmonious life is inevitable. Unity in diversity should be our mantra, and the welfare of the country should be the primary duty of Indians.
Annamalai questioned the need for improvement in the economy of rural areas. If the educated youth of the villages go abroad, who will develop the country, he said, adding that religion has made a great contribution to the country’s economy. The ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayograj and the economic boom in Tirupati are evidence of this.
The Kumbh Mela, which is being held in Prayagraj for 45 days, is the largest and most successful event in the world and will go down in the pages of history. He said that there is no need to give much importance to the allegations made by some people for political reasons regarding such a pious event.
He said that a united India is not anyone’s agenda, only when Indian culture and lifestyle are revealed everywhere in the country can a united India be achieved.
Annamalai expressed his appreciation for the Gurukul system implemented at Kalladka Sri Rama Vidyakendra.
Dr. Prabhakar Bhatt of Kalladka has been successful in his efforts to bring about change in the education system and has contributed to the country by providing a student community educated on national ideologies. There is a need to bring teachers under the Indian education system, and this is possible only through Shri Ram Vidyakendra. In this regard, he advised them to take up the task of training teachers. He did.
He advised students to make good use of the information provided by resource persons at such programs and respond accordingly.
"We should not expect today’s work to yield results right away. The national ideologies here need to remain alive for the next generation. In that regard, the struggles of our ancestors for civilization have served as a beacon for us. Their valuable life stories have guided us," he said.
Dr. Prabhakar Bhat, founder of Sri Rama Vidyakendra and President of Puttur Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangh, spoke in the introduction and expressed regret that national issues have been hidden in textbooks and some popular media. He said that in such situations, Kalladka Sri Rama Vidyakendra has been continuously making efforts for the past few years to fully explain what is truth and what is false.
Expressing his appreciation for the Modi-Yogi duo’s mesmerizing performance in Prayagraj, he said that the work of uniting the entire society and the country is being done by Hindus, and that Hindus are the soul of the country, and the task of coming out of the word "lies" and telling the truth should be done by the youth.
