SDPI launches sit-in protest against Brahmarakotlu tollgate

Bantwal: SDPI Mangalore Rural District Committee continued its anti-toll gate struggle by staging a sit-in near the Brahmarakotlu toll gate today, demanding the removal of the controversial and illegal Brahmarakotlu toll gate.

 

Lawyers and Christian preachers Gerald Sequeira officially inaugurated the event with a band playing.

Anwar Sadat Bajattur, a social activist who spoke at the sit-in and satyagraha and SDPI Mangalore Rural District President, delivered the keynote address.

 

Party national leader Alphons Franco, Mangalore Rural District President Anwar Sadat Bajattur, and other district leaders, activists, several social activists, students, and daily commuter vehicle drivers and owners were present on the occasion.
