Mumbai, Jan. 30: The Shri Sainath Mitra Mandali (R.), which has been serving in Colaba Cuff Parade in South Mumbai for the past three and a half decades, celebrated its 36th annual Shri Satyanarayana Maha Puja and Shri Sai Baba Puja and Sai Bhandara with devotion along with various religious programs at the Sai Sadan in Cuff Parade here on Thursday evening.
As part of the annual program known as the annual fair of Colaba city, Shri Sai Abhishekam, Homa, Shri Satyanarayana Mahapuja, Sai Maharati, public Maha Annasantarpane and Shri Sai Baba’s Bhandara evening were held here. Vidwan Shri Bhavanishankar Bhat (Ghatkopar) performed the Satyanarayana Mahapuja in his priestly capacity and Vidwan Shri Rakesh Bhat Shri Sai Baba performed the puja. N. Krishna Bhat performed the puja and distributed the Tirtha Prasad to the gathered devotees and blessed them. Mohan Mayya assisted the pujadhis.
Under the leadership and guidance of Suresh S. Bhandari, former Administrative Officer of Kachchur Shri Nageshwara Temple, Barkur, and Managing Director of Manifold Co-operative Credit Society Limited, Kadandale, the fair, which has been continuously being held for the past three and a half decades, this time, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul N. Narvekar, President of Bhandari Seva Samiti Mumbai, will be present. Justice| Ranjith S. Bhandari, Former Presidents Advocate Shekhara S. Bhandari, Advocate Ramanna M. Bhandari, Prabhakar P. Bhandari, Sri Geetambika Seva Samiti Aalpha Its Dharmapal P. Kotyan, Suresh Shetty Kananjaru, Sunil Amin, K. Gopal Bhandari, Kavita Bhandari, Pallavi Ranjit Bhandari, Shashidhar D. Bhandari, Hundreds of dignitaries including Rakesh Bhandari and thousands of devotees arrived and received the grace of Sai Baba.
