Bellevision Bahrain Celebrates Fourteenth Annual Day

Bahrain: Bellevision Bahrain’s annual day serves as an important occasion to reflect on the year-long activities, celebrate success, thank the well-wishers and acknowledge the support and efforts of its members. 

 

The 14th annual day of BV Bahrain was celebrated on the evening of 28th November at Bahrain Carlton Hotel. 

 

The program began at 9.00pm with welcome note by MC of the evening, Ms. Adline D’silva our very own vibrant member followed by a Konkani Prayer Song by members. The floor was then opened for couple novelty dance and couples had to perform the dumb charades task.

 

A brief stage program began with present President Rony Norbert Pinto’s pure Konkani resounding welcoming words and gratitude towards all the well-wishers and members for their support. As a mark of success celebration, the Excom members cut the cake and shared their happiness while the gathering was served with home baked slice cake, both which were prepared by Mr. Naveen Mendonca. General Secretary Ms. Sharmila Sequeira presented the Annual Report. Our well-wishers were presented with mementos as a token of gratitude for their continued support. Vice President Mr. Vijay Noronha proposed the vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts put in by members and children to make this event a successful one. Master Allan D’souza recited the grace before meals.

 

There was special appreciation gift for our members – Mr. Valentino Mathias for being the DJ for all events, Mr. Ronald Fernandes for all events photography, Mr. Naveen Mendonca for providing cake for all events and Mr. Vincent Martis for his selfless service throughout. Ex-President Mr. Kishore D’souza was presented with memento for his generous support for the annual day celebration.  

MC Adline D’silva with her true entertaining attitude, enthralled the crowd and ensured that everyone participated and had good fun. Our children Warren, Ronel, Darren, Nathan, Angela, Ivanka, Meloria, Farrel, Eliana, Delisha, Annora and Riva, entertained the crowd with their dance which was choreographed by Preetham Acharya. Master Alec D’silva played the piano and sang a lovely song. A beautiful dance choreographed by Ms. Eden was performed by Joyce, Eden, Shanti, Princy, Nikitha, Preetham and Valentino. Soul-stirring Konkani songs were sung by Riva, Ronald, Preetham, Nikitha, Eden, Joyce and Shanti.

 

Raffle draws at regular intervals were conducted to win 10 prizes, games were conducted for children and adults and Adline’s signature dance moves added momentum to the gathering. 

 

Registration counter was managed by Ms. Preethi Pinto, DJ of the evening was Valentino Mathias, photography was covered by Ronald Fernandes and Wilroy D’souza. Bar counter was manned by Vincent Martis. Everyone received a box of cupcakes that were given by our well-wisher, Mr. Xavier Mathias. Appetizing dinner was prepared and served by Mysore Bhavan Restaurant, Mr. Denis D’sa.
