Mumbai (RBI), Sep 27: Although there is an international level airport port, railways on the coast, the expected tourists are not coming here. Communal issues are causing problems for tourism. But currently the ideas are dying and the days are not far when tourists flock to the coast soon, said Walter Nandalik, president of Daijiwald Group of Organizations.
He presided over the World Tourism Day 2024 program held at Srinivasa Mallya Hall of the University on Friday under the auspices of Mangalore University’s MBA Tourism and Management and Government Tourism Department.
If you are beautiful it is the grace of God, if you live beautifully then it is your gift to God. Helping others is beauty. Such valuable qualities can lead to success in life. There is no doubt that the coast is a tourism spot in a country with beautiful nature, seas, temples, mosques, shrines and many other special places with a humanitarian heart. Don’t hesitate to take a risk, in 2007 there was a well-paid, family-friendly job abroad. The biggest risk in life is not taking risks. We learn from mistakes, "galtee kar na prakriti hai, galtee maanna culture hai, galtee sudhar na pragati hai" he said safety of the tourist place is necessary. Star areas that used to be popular with tourists are now in ruins. Tourism can promote peace, peace promotes tourism, he said.
Prof PL Dharma, Chancellor of Mangalore University, who presided over the program, said that before going anywhere in search of peace of mind, let’s celebrate Tourism Day with love, peace and harmony with the establishment of peace within ourselves and the environment. In the past, people of all religions lived together without any caste distinction and participated in festivals. But now the situation has changed. Harmony is a mirage. Human values ??are declining. Some tourism sectors will suffer because of the unrest. Therefore, with building a society of harmony, let’s develop tourism, which is in huge demand in the current era, he said.
Professor Puttanna, Dean of Department of Commerce, Mangalore University, said that tourism is the richest industry in the world. He said that we have to advance by giving more priority to sustainable tourism.
The program was welcomed by Dr. Shekhar, Chairman of MBA Department. Dr.Joseph D, Coordinator, MBA Tourism Department gave the vote of thanks. Narrated the waiting program.
In the event, the founder president of Daijiveld, Walter Nandashik, was felicitated.
