Bellevision Kuwait celebrates Monti Festh

Kuwait: Bellevision Kuwait celebrated Monti Fest at The English School Salmiya, here, with utmost religious fervor, on Friday, September 20.  Over 150 Belleans and friend’s families took part in the celebration with a lot of enthusiasm.

 

The programme began at 12.30pm with welcome by master of ceremony Mr. Deepak Andrade, followed by a procession and traditional flowers offered by the little children to Mother Mary, accompanied by singing ’Sakkad Sangatha Mellyan’ and ‘Moriyek Hogolsiyan’. with the prayer.

 

Bellevison President Mr. Vincent Fernandes welcomed Guest Priest from Pamboor Fr. Henry Mascarenhas and  welcomed all the Belleans and addressed the gathering thanked each one for their presence and support. He also acknowledged the efforts by all the committee members for organizing the event. Fr. Henry also addressed the crowd and  shared the thoughts on the importance of the feast. The event sponsors and other Associations Presidents were  honored by flower bouquets. Mr. Albert Pereira Ex- Bellevision President was  facilitated by President Vincent for his 5 years’ service and contribution to Bellevision as a President. Bellevision Annual report submitted by Mr. Marian Fernades to the audience, highlighted the support rendered to the society over the years.

Deepaka Andrade kept the children and adults engaged with spot games and kept the crowd cheering and enthusiastic. A variety of entertainment by Belleans children kept the crowd amused. Auction and Housie Housie game was the main attraction of the event.

 

 DJ Savio entertained the crowd with melodious music. Mr.Alban captured the beautiful pictures. 

 

Fr. Henry offered the grace before the meal. As per the ritual ‘Novem’ followed by a traditional vegetarian meal and vorn prepared by Flavours was served to all. 

 

The program was concluded singing Somiyak Dinvasuya Tho Boro Hymn.
