Mumbai, Aug. 25: The ancestors have made worshiping centers of Aradhya Shakti and the faithful villagers, the entire village have sanskritized it and come to worship it. Garodis are sacred places of worship. It should be our utmost duty to preserve its sanctity. We as traditionalists should lead this and introduce it to our future race. Nithyananda D. Kotyan, President of Thonse Sri Brahmabaidarkal Panch Dhoomavathi Garodi Seva Trust, Mumbai, said that the trust is active in this regard.
Here on Sunday morning in the small hall at Billavara Bhawan in Santa Cruz East.
Nityananda Kotyan addressed the gathering while presiding over the sixth annual Mahasabha of Thonse Sri Brahmabaidarka Panch Dhoomavati Garodi Seva Trust Mumbai and said that the Sevanirat Garodi Seva Trust is active in handling religious service as well as social service for its excellence.
In the mandir of the building, after offering worship to Brahmashri Narayan Guru, offering flowers to the portrait of Koti Chennaya and Kanthabare Budabare, the president started the Mahasabha and said that it will be a blessing to do the work of Karnika Jaga.
Trust’s Vice Presidents DB Avin and Vishwanath Tonse, Honorary Secretary Sanjiva Pujari Tonse, Treasurer Raviraj Kalyanpur were present on the dais. Secretary Karunakar B. Pujari read the last Annual General Meeting report. Raviraj Kalyanpur was informed of the previous annual accounts. Treasurer Vijay Sanil gave an overview of the association’s services.
Yogesh Pujari & Associates Chartered Accountants were reappointed as the auditors of the association for the year 2024-2025. The process of selection of office bearers was conducted and the meeting elected the office bearers of the current committee for the year 2024-2027.
Members Ashok M. Kotyan, Vithal C. Pujari, Suresh Anchan, and DB Avin shared their views and wished to serve the Trust.
Talented people who passed various examinations of last year with excellent marks were felicitated in the middle of the meeting. International sportsman ma| Adi Ravi Pujari and Ma| Ritesh Pujari was presented with the Supreme Sadhana Puraskar (accepted by Ma|akas S. Pujari in his absence). Ku| Gautami Pujari and Guru Narayan night school scored the highest marks and passed Vinakshi Pujari was honored with Pratibha Puraskar. Renowned artist Raju B. Tonse was given medical assistance and Prateek P. Pujari was adopted educationally.
Executive committee members Soma Suvarna, Vijay Palan, Udaya N. Pujari, Bharathi S. of the women’s group were present in the meeting. Suvarna, Janaki A. Kotyan, Mridula A. Kotyan, Sulochana R. Pujari, Savita N. Kotyan and other members were present.
The mahasabha was started with the prayers of the women’s group and bowing to Sri Brahma Baidarkala. A silent prayer was offered to Shankar Suvarna, former Honorary Chairman of the Trust, who passed away last year, as well as well-wishers and donors. Vishwanath Tonse congratulated him for this brilliant information. Sanjeeva Pujari Thonse welcomed and thanked.
