CESU Secretary Fr. Vincent Crasta pays official visit to Christ King High School, Manipal

Udupi, 12 July:  Thursday, 11th July, 2024, deservedly went down into the records of this prestigious High school, as the Management CESU paid an official visit to the School, with a dual mission in mind, of rejuvenating the spirits of both students and teachers in the just started academic year, 2024 -25, and overseeing the facilities available in the campus.

 

Principal Mrs Eliza Vaz and her enthusiastic team accorded a warm welcome to V. Rev Fr Vincent Robert Crasta, Secretary CESU, Prof P. Archibald Furtado, Member CESU Governing body, in the august presence of the Correspondent Rev Fr Romeo Lewis, as the beautifully set stage in the quadrangle was occupied with above 800 students from KG to Class X…!

 

Soon after the prayers, by students during the brief stage programme, after floral welcome by the Principal, she briefly introduced the team CESU to the audience.

 

During the colourful event, the School Magazine – ‘Bloom 2023-24’ was released by the CESU Secretary, Very Rev Fr Vincent R. Crasta, in the presence of Editorial team and guests on the dais.

While narrating the intentions of this visit V. Rev Fr Vincent R Crasta, called upon all to share their feelings, suggestions freely to improve the standards of education in this CBSE High School, which is at the threshold of celebrating its Silver Jubilee in 2027. As the High School continuously recording 100 Results in X Public Exams, he congratulated the Students, parents, and appreciated the hard work of Principal and teachers. On this occasion he shared his teaching experiences too and on behalf Management, ‘though this is first of its kind herein Manipal, this will serve to understand the ground realities, needs and review the expectations from students as well.’

 

The Correspondent Rev Fr Romeo Lewis  in his crispy message expressed  his happiness to have this one full day’s CESU’s official visit to the High School  and wished it will very successful and energising to all to rededicate for the cause of quality education in Manipal and the surrounding.

 

The records and results of the previous years too were verified during the visit and in the concluding session at 4.00 pm CESU Secretary shared the wonderful experiences of the team in the High School both in the Office, Campus as well as in the classrooms.  He took the occasion to thank the Correspondent, ever smiling Principal Mrs Eliza Vaz and her cohesive team for the wonderful arrangements, cooperation and coordination.

 

The day long programme comprised of interactions with individual classes by CESU Secretary to ascertain the feedback and suggestions, wherein the young students shared their experiences, sincere appreciations of high standards, in teaching and values, the infra-structure facilities etc.
