Veteran journalist Manohar Prasad (64) passes away

Mangaluru, 01 Mar 2024: Veteran journalist Manohar Prasad passed away at a private hospital on March 1. He was 64.

 

 

Manohar Prasad, who originally hails from Karwalu village of Karkala taluk, graduated in Mangalore and started his journalism career through the “Nava Bharat” newspaper.

 

Later, he joined the Kannada daily Udayavani, as a reporter. He then became the Chief Correspondent, the Bureau Chief and then the Assistant Editor. He had served in Udayavani for 36 consecutive years and retired two years back.
