Founders’ Day and Children’s Day celebration in Manasa, Pamboor

Udupi/Pamboor, 17 Nov 2023: Founders Day and Children’s Day were celebrated in Manasa Pamboor on 15 November 2023. These events were sponsored by the Catholic Sabha Unit of Pamboor and the  Lions Club Bantakal-B C Road.

 

Henry Menezes, President of Manasa Pamboor presided and welcomed the gathering. Fredric Menezes, past President of Pamboor Unit of the Catholic Sabha greeted Manasa students  on the occasion of the Children’s Day and wished them well.

 

Dr Gerald Pinto, joint Secretary thanked the Catholic Sabha Pamboor Unit and the Lions Club for helping the Manasa. He also recalled the service of Jawaharlal Nehru  in Nation building on the occasion of his birthday. He also greeted the students of Manasa and thanked the principal and staff for their dedicated service.

 

 

Msgn. Ferdinand Gonsalves, Lions Club President Ln. Josil Noronha, Pamboor Parish Council Secretary Tony Menezes and Manasa Secretary  Joseph Noronha gave away the prizes to the students. Harry and Mrs Freeda Moras Dubai( Kinnigoly) sponsored the special meals.

 

Guests and students offered flowers to the photo of Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on the occasion of his birthday.

 

Students and teachers presented cultural programme. Principal Sr Ancilla Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks. Hemalatha teacher compered the programme. Trustees John Martis and Dr Edward Lobo, office bearers of Lions Club and Catholic Sabha Pambor Unit, Autism center PTA president Smt Seema Shetty, PTA president Smt Vanitha Shettigar and Superior Sr Mary Back were present.
