Karandadi: District level “Kesaru Gadde Kreedakoota”

Karandadi, 18 August 2011: Udupi district level “Kesaru Gadde Kreedakoota” traditional sports meet in the muddy fields, near Jalanjaru Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple, will be held on 21st August 2011. This sports meet will be jointly organized by Majoor Nagarika Samiti, Lions Club Parkala and Old Students Association of Shri Rama Higher Primary School. This was announced in a press conference by Kaup Vasudeva Rao – President of Old Students Association.
 
In the traditional sports meet; muddy field race, volleyball, tug of war, pot breaking competition, find the treasure competition, musical chair for women, constructing pyramid and breaking the pot and other such competitions have been organized. Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon will be inaugurating this event, said Vasudeva Rao in the press conference.

 

 
Vidyaniketana Group of Education Correspondent K.P. Acharya, Former Minister Vasantha V. Saliyan, Udupi District JDS President Deviprasad Shetty, Padoor Raw Oil Officer Jin Mooli and Entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Gurme Bellary will be participating as the chief guests of the program, said Vasudeva Rao.
 
On this occasion best photography of the sports meet will be given cash prize, hence Vasudeva Rao has requested the Photographers Association for its members to participate in large numbers. In the press conference Sachin Bhuvanesh Shetty, Prakash Shetty and Shrinivas Aythal were also present.
