‘Let’s Ncho’ District Level Dance Competition to be held on 10 Dec

Udupi/Padubelle, 12 Nov 2022: Zizo Educational Institution, Bantakal, Udupi District will be organizing District Level Dance Competition on 10 December 2022 at 6 pm at Shri Narayana Guru English Medium School Ground, Padubelle. The categories of dances include Group and Solo. 

 

In the Group Dance Competition, the winners will get the prize money of Rs. 8,000 and Trophy; Second Prize Rs. 4,000 and Trophy and 2 Consolation Prizes.

 

In the Solo Dance Competition, the winners will get the prize money of Rs. 3,000 and Trophy; Second Prize Rs. 1,500 and Trophy and 2 Consolation Prizes.

 

Those wh wish to participate in the competition are required to register before 6 December 2022. The entry fee is Rs. 500 for Group Dance and Rs. 200 for Solo Dance.

 

 

Rules of the Dance Competition are as follows: 1. Timings-Solo: 2+1 minutes; Group:4+1 Minutes. Negative marks for exceeding the time limit. 2. The Competition is open to all-No age limit. 3. The participants will ne judged on their costumes, visual presentation and Dance form. 4. Lighting of matchsticks, candles, cigarettes, fireworks or any other derogatory acts are strictly prohibited on the stage. 5. For the Group Dance there should be minimum of 3 persons and maximum 20 persons. 6. Choice of Songs is open to the participants. 7. For Registration  Cash or Phonepe 8746023845 are accepted. The last Registration date will be 6 December 2022. 8. Any representative should be present while taking lots on 10 December 2022 by 5.30 pm. 9. Competition will commence at 6 pm and there will be no stage programme. 10. The decision of the Judges will be final.
