Mumbai: Ryan School Borivali (W) gets 2022 Ryan Minithon Mumbai Championship Trophy

Mumbai, 18 Oct 2022: The 23th edition of the Ryan Minithon, hosted by the Ryan International Group of Institutions, was held in Mumbai on Sunday October 16 with the enthusiastic participation of 13000 students from a number of schools of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

 

The Ryan Minithon, one of the largest minithon races for school students in our country, being organized annually in twelve cities of India by the Ryan International Group of Institutions.

 

Ryan Minithon 2022 was flagged off from St Lawrence High School, Borivali, Mumbai by Sonal Pinto, the director of Ryan International Group of Institutions, along with a number of esteemed guests Pranjal Vijaykumar, professional football player, Aayush, co-founder of AADI Production, The Mad Boys and Senemo Studio Youtube, Peter Fernandes, working with Spice Money Limited. He is the associate vice president, co-founder of OriGen Sports Academy.

 

 

Students in the age groups of U-12, U-14 and U-16 ran enthusiastically in this Minithon covering the 2.5 km route lined with a continuous human chain of teachers, Scouts, and RSP students.

 

According to the founding-chairman Dr A F Pinto and the managing director Dr Grace Pinto of the Ryan International Group of Institutions, such minithon races will encourage young people to lead active and healthy lifestyles and a strong sports culture in our country.

 

The winners of the Ryan Minithon 2022 from different age groups were awarded in an enthralling felicitation ceremony in the presence of a large number of students, parents, and distinguished guests hailing from the fields of sports to education and from the media to entertainment.

 

Ryan Christian School, Borivali (West), received the 2022 Ryan Minithon Mumbai Division Championship Trophy.

 

St Joseph High School, New Panvel bagged the second place, St Xavier’s High School, Naigaon won third place.

 

The top 6 finishers in each category also received certificates of achievement.  While addressing on the occasion Sonal Pinto, the chief guest of the occasion congratulated all the winners and said that such Minithon races are organized by the Ryan International Group of Institutions to bring all round development to the children of our nation. All the guests and parents were in praise for this pioneering initiative of the Ryan Group of Institutions in organizing such a mega event for the youth of our nation. Margaret Coelho & Dolly Ghosh compared the programme. Students welcomed the guests and proposed the vote of thanks for their esteemed presence.
