Moodbidri: Better upbringing essential for success in life of students – T Anand Shetty

Moodbidri, 27 Aug 2022: In order to lead a better life; education, discipline and better upbringing is essential. Meanwhile, one can reach the goal by sheer hard work, honesty and jest for achieving despite setbacks. The students should make better use of the opportunities that they get during their studies without becoming victims of ill habits, said Tonse Anand M Shetty, managing director of Mumbai-based Organic Industries Private Limited.

 

Anand was the chief guest speaking at the programme, organized by Mahaveera College students’ council, here recently.

 

 

Dr David Frank Fernandes, NRI entrepreneur from Dubai said, ‘Guru is personified with knowledge, whose guidance lays strong foundation for future life of students. One should not forget their Alma Mater despite success in later life. One should contribute to nation building and live responsibly,’ said David.

 

The College governing council chairman and former Karnataka minister Abayachandra Jain, College principal Prof Ramesh Bhat, students’ welfare officer Prof Harish, office bearers of council were present at the dais.

 

PU College principal Dr Radhakrishna presided the programme.

 

Jasmita Rodrigues, ninth rank holder in B Com exam conducted by Mangalore University was felicitated on the same occasion.
