Beltangady: 444 children attend Deanery Altar Servers & Marian Sodality Convention 2022

Beltangady, 05 Jul 2022: Deanery Altar Servers and Marian Sodality Convention was held at Holy Redeemer Church Auditorium, here on Sunday July 3 from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

 

Four-hundred-forty-four children from 12 parishes of deanery under Mangaluru diocese attended the convention.

 

Fr Leo Lasrado, director of vocation and director of Minor Seminary Gladsom, Mangaluru diocese was the resource person.

 

 

Fr Stany Pinto, campus director of St Philomena College, Puttur conducted the activities and games for the children.

 

Fr Joseph Cardoza, Beltangady deanery inaugurated the convention.

 

Fr Stany Pinto, Fr Vijay Lobo, principal, Anugraha PU College, Ujire, Fr Clifford Pinto, principal, Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Beltangady, Aloysius Lobo, vice president, parish council, Pauline Rego, secretary Vincent D’Souza, Co-coordinator of pastoral Commissions were present.

 

Fr Leo Lasrado celebrated the Holy Eucharist and delivered the homily.

 

Fr James D’souza, parish priest, Ujire, Fr Steevan D’Souza, parish priest, Indabettu, Fr Vijay Lobo, Fr Clifford Pinto, Fr William D’Souza, assistant parish priest, Madantyar and Fr Arthur Menezes, resident priest, Gardady concelebrated the Holy Mass.
