Mangaluru: JDS Supremo Deve Gowda to launch Swabhiman Abhiyan for 2024 Lok Sabha polls

Mangaluru, 07 Feb 2022: JDS supremo the former PM Deve Gowda will launch Swabhiman Abhiyan, to prepare for his 23rd general election and the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 beginning from Mangaluru at Kumpala, here on Saturday, February 12 at 5.00pm, said JDS DK district president J Madhave Gowda.

 

 

Addressing the media persons at Woodlands Hotel, here on Monday, February 7 at 3.30pm, Madhave said that as it’s customary for Deve Gowda who had always begun his election campaign from Mangaluru. Likewise, he would also do so for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, said Madhave Gowda.

 

Swabhiman Abhiyan DK district committee convener and former JDS district president M B Sadashiva said, ‘BJP-led Karnataka state administration has failed in every front, with skyrocketing of prices of daily necessities, promoting Hindi disregarding Kannada, rampant corruption, communalism and neglecting motherland and water bodies,’ said Sadashiva.

 

Karnataka has become former Bihar with scant regard for law and order. Meanwhile, Deve Gowda will launch Swabhiman Abhiyan to restore its former glory, added Sadashiva.

 

JDS DK district past president Mohammed Kunhi, Vasant Poojary, JDS DK youth wing president Akshit Suvarna, Sullia block JDS Sukumar, general secretary Rakesh and others were present at the press meet.
