Mangaluru: MCC Bank holds orientation programme for newly-recruited staff

Mangaluru, 18 Oct 2021: MCC Bank Orientation Programme was conducted for the newly-recruited staff of MCC Bank at the administrative office, here from October 14 and October 15.
The programme was inaugurated by general manager of Canara Bank and presently Ombudsman of Karnataka Bank, Balachandra Rao along with MCC Bank chairman Anil Lobo.
Speaking on the occasion, the chairman explained the need of such programs and instructed the participants to actively participate in all sessions. He called upon them to be instrumental in the progress of the Bank.
Balachandra Rao conducted a session on ‘Marketing Strategies in Banking.’
Addressing the participants, Rao recalled his banking days and the challenges faced during those days. He emphasized that marketing of products of the Bank plays a vital role in the progress and advancement of a Bank. Due to digitalization in Banking, there is competition in the market. The need of the hour is to market the bank products through social media.
S H Visweswaraiah, former DGM of State Bank Group and advisor of MCC Bank Ltd delivered a talk on the importance of Communication in Banking.
Maxim Castelino, former chief manager of Canara Bank guided the participants on the important aspect of Customer Service in Banking.
Anil Patrao, director of the Bank emphasized on Career advancement in MCC Bank and urged the participants to work smartly in order to climb the ladder of success.
Sunil Menezes, general manager enlightened the participants on the commencement, progress and achievements of MCC Bank. The deputy general manager, Raj F Menezes and credit manager, Darryl Lasrado explained the products and services of the Bank in detail.
The participants who actively took part in the program were felicitated. Professional directors, C G Pinto and Michael D’Souza guided the participants. The director Marcel D’Souza was present during the occasion.
The Orientation Programme concluded with a positive note. The participants expressed their satisfaction about the program.
