Meritorious Students of St. Lawrence Educational Institutions, Moodubelle honoured

Udupi/M’Belle, 21 Sept 2021: “If students utilize their ability properly, they can achieve greater things in life. When they get good educational institutions, ideal teachers and blessing from parents their achievement doubles”, said Fr. George D’Souza, Correspondent of St. Lawrence Educational Institutions who presided over the function ‘Excellence Day’ held to honour the achievers of the institutions on Tuesday, 21 September 2021 at the St. Lawrence Community Hall, Moodubelle.

 

Dr. Roshan Martis, acknowledged as the International Youth Scientist and the alumnus of St. Lawrence PU College was felicitated. 

 

SSLC students of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School and English Medium High School and students of St. Lawrence PU College who had secured distinction marks were honoured on this occasion.

 

 

Kudi Vasantha Shetty, winner of National Award as Best Teacher and an alumnus of St. Lawrence PU College delivered the keynote address as the chief guest.

 

Gerald Fernandes-Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council was present.

 

Roystan Martis and Melina compeered the programme. Kum. Lizwita introduced the guests. Br. Philip Noronha-Principal of St. Lawrence English Medium High School welcomed the gathering. Kum. Shreya Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Jacintha Lobo and John Castelino analyzed the results of PUC and SSLC respectively.

 

Edward Larsen D’Souza-Principal of St. Lawrence PU College, Mrs. Sunitha Kamath-Headmistress of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School and teachers, students and their parents were present.
