Mangaluru: Congress alleges Karnataka state admin failed in managing Covid-19 situation

Mangaluru, 21 May 2021: Dakshina Kannada district Congress Committee president K Harish Kumar lauded the humanitarian deed of district youth Congress in distributing free food packets to destitute, manual laborers and tempo drivers during statewide Covid-19 Lockdown.
Speaking to the media persons, here on Friday, May 21, Kumar said that Congress party has suggested several measures to recover from the second wave of Covid-19 to CM B S Yeddyurappa led Karnataka state administration that have ironically were ignored. The state-run hospitals have no adequate stock of ventilators, oxygen and beds to care for Covid patients. It has failed in every respect in managing the Covid situation, said Kumar.
Kumar also said that district Congress has set up Covid Helpline, Covid Care and free ambulance to care for Covid patients. Its former MLAs, office bearers of different blocks and activists are collectively helping them to get Covid care.
