Mangaluru: St Antony’s Home Museum, Jeppu likely to get listing in DK Tourism

Mangaluru, 11 Oct 2020: Somanath, assistant director of tourism department, Dakshina Kannada (DK) district visited the newly-established St Antony’s Home Museum at Jeppu, here on Saturday October 10, to explore the scope of listing the location in DK tourism spots.
St Antony’s Ashram director Fr Onil D’Souza accompanied Somanath on tour of St Antony’s Ashram that has over century of history.
John V Tauro, donor of wide varieties artifacts and vintage items to St Antony’s Home Museum was also present.
Somanath offered assurances of listing St Antony’s Ashram and Museum in the tourism handbook of DK district.

I think John Tauro is doing a good promotional work for the Museum, where most artefacts were gifted by him. I hope the listing will bring more tourists to the museum. |
