Mangaluru: Labor dept distributes sanitizers/soaps to domestic staff to combat Covid-19

Mangaluru, 03 Jul 2020: The domestic staff also played their role following the cleanliness and hygiene practices as advised by union health ministry in combating Covid-19 global pandemic, said Kavoor ASI Jagannat K.

 

Jagannat was speaking during distribution of sanitizers and soaps to local domestic staff that was sponsored by Mangaluru labor office and Stree Jagruti Samiti – Mangaluru, during Domestic Staff Day held at Labor office, here recently.

 

 

He also advised the domestic staff to be vigilant always on Covid-19 in wearing hand gloves and face masks, change them very often to protect themselves and their employers families.

 

Stree Jagruti Samiti – Mangaluru convener Dr Samsad Kunjatbail urged the domestic staff including house drivers to follow cleanliness and hygiene for themselves at the difficult times of Covid-19.

 

Kunjatbail Anganwady worker Shamalata Kunjatbail, domestic workers rights Federation secretary Sita was present.
