Udupi District level sports meet for specially abeled children in Manasa Pamboor

Udupi, 29 Nov: Udupi District level sports meet for specially abled children as part of World Disability Day was organized at Manasa Pamboor by Directorate for the Empowerment of Differently Able in association with Udupi district administration and Manasa Pamboor on 28 November 2019.

 

D.C of Udupi district G. Jagadeesh received guard of honor and inaugurated the sports meet. He appreciated Manasa for efficiently organizing the event. Deputy Director of Women and Child Department Mrs. Gracy Goncalves  lighted the Kreeda Jyothi. Zilla Panchayat member Wilson Rodrigues, District officer Chandra Nayak, Sr. Ancilla - principal, and Joseph Noronha administrator were present.

 

 

President of Manasa Henry Menezes welcomed the gathering, State president of teaching and non teaching staff of special teachers Dr. Kanthi Harish proposed the vote of thanks.

 

Mrs. Preethi Ghelot, CEO of Zilla Panchayat gave away the prizes. Chandras compeered the programme. NSS volunteers of SVS College, Katpadi helped to conduct the event. 13 schools participated in the sports meet.
