Udupi: Jnanaganga PU College, Moodubelle distributes scholarship to 61 talented students

Udupi, 20 Aug: Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte – Moodubelle, near here organized scholarship distribution programme during 73rd I-Day celebration at their College premises on Thursday, August 15.

 

The former convener of Karnataka Yakshagana Academy P Kishan Hegde after inaugurating the programme commended the discipline of students and naturesque environment of college.

 

He advised the students who received the scholarship to extend their support to others when they start earning.

 

 

Aryabhata award recipient Udupi advocate Girish Aithal explained how the studetns can be involved in social welfare activities.

 

The founder president Gopikrishna Rao announced to set aside more funds for scholarship in order to benefit more talented students.

 

The College chairman Ramdas Shettigar administered Swacch Bharat oath to the students.

 

The College correspondent Bharati Hande was present at the dais.

 

The College principal U L Bhat distributed scholarship to 61 students during the programme.

 

I PUC science students rendered the students. The chemistry lecturer Smita welcomed the gathering. The physical education director Raghu proposed vote of thanks. Mathematics lecturer Kamalakshi Prakash compered the programme.
