Doha: Abdul Salam MS of Mangalore to officiate in International Cricket Matches

Doha-Qatar, 10 Jul: It is a matter of pride that that sportspersons for coastal Karnataka have been making a mark in international sports field. In this respect one of the sports personality becoming International Cricket Council and Asian Cricket Council Level II Coach, Umpire and Match Referee is a matter of pride. Besides, in a match played in Qatar between Kuwait and Qatar he is performing the duty of the Third Umpire.
This sports personality is Abdul Salam MS, son of late MS Ibrahim, Mannagudda, Mangaluru. He has been a well-known stage artist and winner of Karnataka Rajya Prashasthi. He is the son of Late MS Ibrahim. He has been serving the cause of Cricket since the last 18 years. He has served South Canara Cricket Association and Karnataka State Cricket Association. Since the last 14 years he has been serving in the Qatar Cricket Association as national coach and referee. This is a great honour to the cricket lovers of coastal Karnataka.
Abdul Salam MS has expressed his gratitude to the President of Qatar Cricket Association Yousef Jeham Al Kuwari, Manohar Amin of Karnataka State Cricket Association and South Canara Cricket Association for the support. It is hoped that Abdul Salam will get many more opportunities to officiate in International cricket matches.
