Mangaluru: Maundy Thursday Mass at Milagres

Mangaluru, 18 Apr 2019: Maundy Thursday Mass celebrated today at Our Lady of Miracles Milagres Mangalore. Thousands of devotees participated the holy Eucharist mass at open grounds. Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Valerian celebrated the holy mass accompanied by Assistant parish priest and resident priests. In his sermon Rev Fr Edwin said “sacrifice of Jesus bought the salvation to humans.

 

The last supper resembles his sacrifice to protect humans. He washed the feet of his disciples to show the love and care towards people. He cleansed their sins and became the role model for others. During those days only servants used to wash their master’s feet but Jesus himself washed feet’s of his apostles to show what is true love.   On this day he given two sacraments to people one holy Eucharist and second Priesthood he let us remember the sacrifice of Jesus towards us. Let us be thankful to Jesus and pray for all the priest and missionaries on this day let the same spirit flow to serve the holy church and spread the good message of Jesus Christ. After the mass one hour of Adoration was conducted by Rev Fr Anil
