Mangaluru: Enlightened voters contribute for success of democracy – Edward L D’Souza

Mangaluru, 20 Mar: The enlightened voters contribute for the success of democracy. Every bonafide voter has to exercise his right responsibly. The students ought to motivate the eligible voters in their neo neighbourhood to cast their votes, said political science lecturer Edward Larsen D’Souza.

 

Edward was the resource person speaking during awareness programme that was organised by Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) of St Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle, near here on Tuesday, March 19.

 

 

The College principal Naveen Correa presided the programme and administered voters’ oath.

 

St Lawrence High School senior teacher Sunita Kamat welcomed the gathering. ELC nodal officer Valerian Crasta proposed vote of thanks.

 

The teachers and office staff, students of St Lawrence High School and PU College were present.
