’Vechogi Ravncho’ Konkani comedy drama is all set to perform at Town Hall Udupi on Sunday

Udupi, 11 Aug 2018: Super Hit Comedy drama “Vechogi Ravncho" by Saangon Mugdana Kalakar’ is all set to perform on Sunday August 12 in Town Hall Udupi, Ajjarakad at 4pm.

 

Niranthar Udyavar’, as part of its yearly entertainment programme, has organized the comedy drama show of ‘Vechogi Ravncho’, performed by Saangon Mugdana Kalakar.

 

Written by King of Comedy (’Haasy Ray Kunvar’) Pradeep Barboza Paladka, the drama is a complete entertainer. In its last show held in Dubai on June 22, the troupe had received huge applaud and response. The audience was entertained by the punching dialogues of the writer and excellent performance by all the artistes.

 

 

The story revolves around a bus stop in a rural area of Mangalore and surroundings of the bus stop. “Every second of the drama is humorous and audience will be entertained till the end. There is love story, comedy and suspense in story which will surely blow the minds of the audience”, says director Pradeep Barboza.

 

"All the artistes have already arrived who are working in Dubai. They have sacrificed their family time and come here to present the drama "Vechogi Ravncho" by paying their own travelling expenses just for the love of the Konkani language”, said Michel D’Souza, of team ‘Niranthar Udyavar’.

 

‘Niranthar Udyavar’ was founded to stage Konkani drama, dance, poetry recital and other Konkani language related programmes in Udupi. “There are many organizations in Mangaluru to promote Konkani language and culture like Mandd Sobhann. Lack of such organizations in Udupi made us to start team ‘Niranthar Udyavar’. This is our first programme and in coming days we will be organizing other Konkani language programmes”, says Michel D’souza.

 

Pradeep Barboza himself has acted in the drama. Along with him other renowned artistes of Konkani drama like Nanu Marol Thottam, Alphonse D’Souza Moodubelle, Godwin Castelino Attur, Royston Kiran D’souza Balkunje, Helvin Barboza Kulur, Lavina Fernandes Pangla and Venicia Rodrigues Alangar are part of the team. Rohan Lobo Kalakul has composed music to the drama. Diany D’Souza is the coordinator of the team.
The organizers have requested to attend this drama in large numbers as this is the only opportunity to view this most talked and applauded by Konkani Community in Dubai.
