Mangaluru: Free shoes distributed to students of Derakatte Higher Primary School

Mangaluru, 03 Aug 2018: The state government introduced several free facilities with the objective of helping poor students to continue their studies that got to be better utilized, urged Vijay Krishna Poojary, president of Belma gram panchayat.

 

Vijay was speaking during free distribution of shoes programme held at ZP Higher Primary School, Deralakatte, here, on Thursday, August 2.

 

 

The state-run schools lacked classrooms in the past that has been eased with infrastructures that got to be better utilized by the students, said Vijay.

 

The school betterment Committee president B A Khader presided the programme.

 

TP member Noorjahan, Belma gram panchayat vice president B M Abdul Sattar, entrepreneur P M Ibrahim Qatar, alma mater vice president I Khader and others were present.

 

The school head teacher Sylvia B M Veigas welcomed the gathering. Mamata compered the programme. Mable Veigas proposed vote of thanks.
